Description

Executive couple with a newborn is in need of a FT, live-out Property Caretaker/Manager to start in early December 2021. The Property Caretaker/Manager will manage the property’s exterior and interior’s maintenance, landscaping, outdoor cleaning and overall upkeep throughout the year.

The Property Caretaker/Manager’s work schedule is Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with occasional weekends with advanced notice. Flexibility to stay later or come in earlier when needed is essential.

The ideal candidate has long-term experience in managing a large private residence and can do most general household repairs. We are looking for someone who has a minimum of 10+ years of professional experience, a strong work ethic, long-term tenure with previous families (or a company), a positive attitude and great communication skills. Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required. Since this is a long-term position, we are looking for someone who can commit to this position and schedule for many years.

Other duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Personal Assistant (PA) duties
  • Household management duties
  • Running errands
  • Organizing and ordering household supplies
  • Keeping inventory and lists of supplies
  • HVAC maintenance
  • Household alarm and security management
  • Creating a household manual
  • General household repairs/upkeep
  • Working as a team player with the housekeepers
  • Working with contractors, designers, vendors etc.
  • Vehicle (and boat ideally) maintenance

This is a local search open to those with experience in private property management or similar verifiable experience as a Groundsman or Property Caretaker for a non-residential property. However, candidates must have some kind of private service experience as a handyman, PA or household manager. Long-term tenure in a current or previous position is required, as well as excellent verifiable references.
