Description
Professional working couple is seeking an experienced Newborn Specialist for their new bundle of joy who was born in January of 2016. The couple has two older children who will be in school full time so the newborn specialist will only be caring for the baby. This position is available starting in February of 2017 and the family is not sure if they will need someone overnights or during the day. More details about living-in will also be provided at the time of the interview for out-of-state candidates. The family is very flexible for the right person but will need someone who can commit a minimum of 6 months to their family and be able to work overnights. Since the couple is both in the health care industry, the nanny will need to be very flexible to their schedules and able to work 50+ hours in a week. The schedule can be discussed during the interview with the nanny but the nanny should be available in the early mornings, afternoons and evenings during the workweek. Weekend help is not needed.
The ideal nanny will be older and mature with a lot of newborn experience and be comfortable to care for the baby alone. Before the nanny's first day of work, she will need to be current in her CPR certification, which the family can help with. The most important thing is that the nanny will be a reliable, dedicated and loving caregiver for this wonderful family until the baby is in school. When the baby is sleeping the nanny will have an opportunity to straighten out the baby's nursery, keep up with the baby's laundry, light housekeeping and of course taking a little time for herself. Once the baby is older, the nanny can plan trips to the park, arts and crafts and other fun activities that will challenge the baby to learn and grow. Interviews for this position will start after Christmas.
