Description

New parents of a baby boy are in search of a loving, patient and reliable nanny to start when he is about 12 weeks old. Both parents will be working so it's crucial the nanny always be early or on time to work and also flexible to stay after her scheduled work hours if the parent's get home a little late from work. The nanny's weekly work schedule is Monday-Friday 7am-4:30pm.
We are looking for someone who has a lot of newborn care experience with excellent references. The nanny will be responsible to keep up with her safety certifications such as infant CPR and First Aid . Any professional newborn care training is a bonus but experience is a must. The nanny must be knowledgeable in keeping a developmental journal of the baby to share with the parents and have good communication skills. Having a sense of humor and an outgoing personality are also important qualities in a nanny to the parents. The nanny will not have to drive as part of her duties. Other duties include light housekeeping, cooking healthy food for the baby once he's of age, keeping up with the baby's laundry and helping the parents with any other baby-related and basic household needs.
The family has a small rescue dog and an indoor senior cat who is having a difficult time adjusting to the new family addition. A nanny who loves animals and can give a little love and attention to the cat on occasion or when the baby is sleeping is a bonus. She is a very loving cat with a strict diet and is hoping to be good buddies with the nanny. The dog is already in love with the baby and will need to be let out on occasion.
This is a long-term nanny position where the nanny must give a minimum of a one-year commitment, but ideally we hope to find a nanny who will be with the family until the family has outgrown the need for her. This is true for all of our long-term positions. Please do not apply if you are not able to give this kind of commitment. We will be interviewing new nannies immediately. All new childcare applications must be sent in with a current/updated childcare resume, references and a photo. We look forward to meeting new professional childcare providers who are responsible and love children!
