Description
Professional health care provider couple is need of a wonderful, long-term nanny for their 5-year-old son with Autism spectrum disorder. Since the couple is in the health care industry, it's crucial that the nanny have the flexibility to work 10-12 hour shifts and overnights as needed. This averages to about 40-50 hours each week but may vary at times. The nanny has the option to live-in or live-out, but the family prefers a live-in. She can also live-in during the time she's working and live-out the rest of the time, there is flexibility for the right nanny. The family have a large pool house where the nanny would ideally live. The pool house is completely furnished with all amenities including access to the family's spa and private gym!
The family needs a reliable nanny who will prioritize this position and work even when sick (unless it's highly contagious) until they can take off work. Since the nanny will know her schedule with the family about one-month in advance, she can easily plan appointments, vacations and other personal time off. This position is available immediately.
The nanny must be able to commit to this family for a minimum of one year but ideally much longer. A bilingual (Spanish) speaking nanny is a plus but not a requirement. The family has 2 indoor pets that include a dog, cat and parrot. Driving will be part of the nanny's duties and a vehicle will be provided for on-duty use. Other job related duties include light housekeeping, cooking for the child, running errands for the family, the child's laundry, grocery shopping and walking the dog. We will be interviewing new qualified candidates for this position starting the week of February 1, 2017.
