Description
Professional House Manager is needed for a client's second home in Santa Fe, NM. For the majority of the year the HM's daily schedule is M-F 7:30am-3:30pm with the flexibility to start earlier and end later as needed. However, when the principal is in town (about 4 months out of the year), the HM should be available to work weekends and holidays and be on-call in addition to his/her normal hours.
The principal has two medium sized dogs that will need to be cared for, so we are looking for a HM who loves dogs. The HM will also need to be comfortable learning how to administer medication to the dogs as needed. Other duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Overall household management
Oversee and manage two housekeepers
Training new household staff
Running errands (a vehicle will be provided for ON duty use)
Household inventory
Finances
Basic bookkeeping
Administration
Scheduling
Organizing
Light housekeeping
The start date is 1/7/19. We are looking for candidates with long-term tenure with current or previous employers who can give a long-term commitment to this position. This is a national search and we will be conducting interviews immediately for those who have the experience and qualifications we're looking for. Spanish-speaking is a plus but not a qualification.
