Description
We are looking for an experienced, hard-working Family Assistant for a family of four with two dogs. The family has two children ages 3 and 4 who are looking forward to getting to know a fun and sweet nanny. The FA's schedule is Mondays-Thursdays 1pm-5pm with occasional weekend babysitting if the FA would like additional hours. Since the family is only offering 16 hours of work a week, the salary is extremely competitive for someone who will commit to this family long-term and do an excellent job. The FA must be able to make this position her main job and priority, although she is free to have another position that will not interfere with this schedule. Ideally, the FA will be older or mature and able to take charge after some training without being told what to do. Some of her duties will include, but are not limited to:
Child care
Cooking for the children
Cooking or helping prepare dinner for the family
Running errands
Grocery shopping
Children's laundry
Light housekeeping
Scheduling
The most important qualities in a FA for this family is that she works hard, has a great attitude and learns how to creatively help the family in the areas they need help with. This means the FA is paying close attention to how she can best help this family and then does it. There is always a learning curve and the family will not expect the FA to know everything right away, this will take time and they will help her learn the ropes to succeed. The start date for this position is ASAP and the DDA will be interviewing new candidates starting November 30, 2016.
