Description

Busy young executive is in need of an Executive/Personal Assistant to start November 1, 2018. The client lives between NYC and Fort Lauderdale, so there’s a possibility the EPA will need to travel on occasion with the employer. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience and currently be located in NYC.

Currently there isn’t a set work schedule, so ideally the EPA can be flexible to be on-call M-F between 8am-8pm to start, or during a working trial period. Once there is a routine set in place, the EPA can work with the employer to figure out a schedule that works for everyone, with the understanding and flexibility that the hours will most likely not be the same every week.

Job skills required are as follows:

Computer savvy
Bookkeeping
Knowledge of QuickBooks
Calendar management
Small business administration
Travel coordinating
Bachelor’s degree

Other duties and responsibilities required, but not limited, to the following:

Light housekeeping
Running errands
Grocery shopping
Driving (pick-up, drop-off etc.)
Organizing
Managing household

The EPA needs to be able to take initiative, think ahead and not be told what to do. He or she must conduct themselves professionally at all times and have excellent communication skills. Some of the most important qualities in the EPA are someone who has a positive “can-do” attitude and enjoys working in a fast paced and challenging environment. The EPA shouldn’t ever feel there is a task or duty beneath him/her, even if it falls outside their normal job responsibilities. Attention to detail is important as well as strong organizational skills. Overall, our client needs someone who will help him efficiently manage and organize both his personal life and business affairs.
