Description
We are seeking an experienced Executive Personal Assistant and Household Manager for a private client relocating to Santa Fe, NM in March 2025. This is a full-time, live-out position for a proactive, organized, and flexible professional that will assist in both personal and household management. A love for dogs, especially large breeds, is essential.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Household & Property Management – Oversee maintenance, scheduling, and vendor coordination for the Principal’s residence in Santa Fe, New York and a beach home in Georgia.
- Personal Assistant Duties – Provide general assistance, including running errands, household shopping, scheduling appointments, and organizing various aspects of the Principal’s daily life.
- Dog Care – Assist in caring for a large bullmastiff puppy, including feeding, walking, vet visits, and companionship.
- Short-Term Rental Management – Handle Airbnb reservations, guest communication, and property readiness to optimize rental income.
- Staff & Vendor Oversight – Manage housekeepers and service providers, ensuring the home runs smoothly.
- Travel Coordination – Book flights, accommodations, and logistics as needed, including occasional travel with the Principal.
- General Support – Provide day-to-day support in a hands-on role that requires adaptability and discretion.
- Calendar Management – Manage schedules, travel arrangements, and administrative tasks with superb organizational skills.
- Privacy and Discretion – Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Energetic, Flexible, and Supportive – Adapt to changing needs with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Other Projects and Duties as Assigned.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, full-time
- Some flexibility required for occasional overnight stays when the Principal is away.
- Occasional travel required, including accompanying the Principal on trips as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a personal assistant in a domestic setting
- Must be comfortable caring for large dogs
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Must be familiar with Santa Fe, NM or willing to learn the area quickly
- Flexible for occasional travel as needed
