Since the DDA does not act as the employer, WE do not insure and bond our domestic applicants although many are independently insured and bonded.
Most of our candidates are professionals in their fields and have either been referred to us or have sought out an established APNA household staffing agency to represent them. We are always recruiting top domestic professionals and each search is specialized according to our client’s needs and preferences.
We have a wide range of ages, from mid-twenties to forties and up.
There is a one-time registration fee of $175, which will allow you one year of access to our large pool of professional domestic providers. For all agency fees, please refer to our “Placement Fees” page here.
We look forward to starting your search and you can start by going to our home page, clicking on FOR CLIENTS and simply fill out a request form. Feel free to contact the agency directly during our business hours, Monday – Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
No, we do not share or rent out any personal information collected. We highly respect our dealings with clients and applicants confidentially.
No. We just need you to fill out a request form and send it back to us. If an on-site consultation is needed, we will make arrangements to come to your home. Please contact the agency for on-site consultation information and fees.
The amount of time it takes to find a good match varies for each request. Our placements typically take a minimum of 3 weeks (from start to hire) but we highly recommend starting a search as early as 3 months in advance.
We can not ‘guarantee’ that we will find you a perfect match, however, we will advise you on how to offer a competitive position that will help us make the best long-term placement for your family. Our placement specialists will help you through this process.
The $150 Registration Fee will cover the search for up to two positions if the requests are made at the same time.

A Family Assistant’s main responsibility is childcare, which is at least 50% of his/her duties. If the family needs someone to do 50% or more of non-childcare related duties, (such as household management or personal assistant work) the position title will reflect the greater percentage of responsibilities. For instance, if a domestic employee’s duties are 60% housekeeping, and 40% childcare, he/she would be considered a housekeeper. This is true for all positions.
A Nanny’s main and only responsibility is childcare. This includes cooking, feeding, cleaning, scheduling, driving, laundry, etc. for the children only. If the family needs someone to help them with their own personal errands or household duties such as laundry, cooking, or ironing for the entire family, we consider this to be a Family Assistant.
