Description
Albuquerque, NM based Principal is seeking an experienced live-out Ranch and Estate Manager/Personal Assistant for a family ranch overseeing three properties in New Mexico. Start date is ASAP. Work schedule is TBD but will be full time.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Estate and Ranch Management – Oversee vendors, security, mail organization, property oversight, and scheduling repairs and maintenance. Supervise outside professionals and coordinate with subcontractors as needed.
- Managing Ranch Staff – Coordinate schedules with the ranch bookkeeper, supervise two part-time ranch employees, and oversee all scheduled projects on the property.
- Managing Ranch and Estate Supplies – Handle inventory management, restocking, purchasing, and record-keeping.
- Running Errands – Including grocery shopping, home supplies, vehicle maintenance, dry cleaning, and more.
- Personal Assistant Duties – Provide support such as online shopping, driving the Principal and family when needed, and being available for emergencies or flexible weekend work.
- Family Office Duties – Must be computer-savvy and experienced with research, purchasing, and administrative tasks.
- Event Preparation – Assist with planning and hosting special occasions and ensuring a warm, welcoming environment for ranch guests.
- Calendar Management – Manage schedules, travel arrangements, and administrative tasks with superb organizational skills.
- Privacy and Discretion – Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Energetic, Flexible, and Supportive – Adapt to changing needs with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Other Projects and Duties as Assigned.

This is a hands-on role where the manager will be expected to work independently as well as collaboratively with other staff or the Principal. The Ranch and Estate Manager's work will directly help the Principal enjoy more quality time with her family by managing key ranch, household and confidential responsibilities.
Ideal Candidates:
- Over 10 years of experience in a similar role
- A proven track record of 3+ years in previous positions
- Ranch management experience
- Enthusiasm for cooking (not required but a bonus)
- Versatility to transition seamlessly between ranch life and estate etiquette
- A warm, welcoming personality that makes people feel at home
- Experience with house and holiday decorating and planning
