Description
Professional family with two children (and two cats), aged 5 and 7 months, looking for a full-time French speaking nanny to start ASAP. The schedule is M-F 8am-3pm. The desirable candidate will be a self-starter who is energetic, patient, and comfortable managing things without being asked for assistance. He or she is happy working independently or while Mom or Dad is at home. The ideal nanny is also flexible and will consider traveling on weekends or longer trips with the family (possibly including overseas trips) or will be willing to do overnights on occasion. Daily duties are subject to change as children move through school, but include accompanying children to classes/tutoring, as necessary, and occasional meal preparation/grocery shopping. Nanny may be asked to help with homework, take children to fun activities, pack lunches, and otherwise manage the home as per mutually agreed upon. Mom is French and travels a fair amount, so the needs will change according to Mom’s schedule, which can be discussed in more detail at the interview. A car can be provided, but it is helpful if the nanny has his or her own transport.
