Description
We are in search for a wonderful bilingual (English/Spanish) nanny for a family of 4 with 9 year old twins (boy and girl), a cat and a Labrador. The family and the household staff all work as a team in helping care for the children, pets, cooking, running errands and anything that needs to get done. It's important the nanny be a team player and be able to take charge in helping outside of childcare as long as the children are her first priority. A car will be provided to the nanny for on-duty use so she must have a clean driving record. The start date is April 2016 and the nanny's schedule is M-F 2pm-8pm. Ideally, the nanny will also be able to travel with the family on occasion. The family also employs a weekend nanny so the main nanny will not need to work weekends. However, the family hopes to find a nanny that has the flexibility to help them in case of an emergency where they would need to replace the weekend nanny for any reason.
The ideal nanny will also have a college degree or at least be able to help the children with their homework and studies. Spanish speaking is a must as the parents would like to continue speaking to their children in Spanish at home as they are bilingual. Any kind of teaching background is preferred although the most important thing is finding a reliable nanny with a fun sense of humor.
