Description
We are looking for a wonderful nanny for a single mother of a 15 month old little girl to start August 1, 2015. The nanny will have her own private room and the entire upper floor to herself in the grandmother's large estate. The ideal nanny will be Spanish speaking or at least able to cook delicious Spanish food, as the Hispanic culture is a big part of this family's way of life. Out of state nannies are welcome to apply and the family will start interviewing out of state nannies through phone interviews as early as July 13, 2015.
The family has 3 small dogs and 5 cats so the nanny must love animals and have no severe allergies to them. Other household staff includes a housekeeper who cleans daily. Flexibility is essential for the nanny as the family would like the nanny to help out on Saturdays to take the child to swim classes and other fun activities such as the zoo, aquarium and children’s museum etc. Please note this is a long-term position and the nanny will have to give a minimum of a one-year commitment. The family and nanny can work together to create a schedule that works for everyone as the most important thing to the family is finding a sweet, loving and reliable nanny.
This position is open to all childcare providers with excellent references, even those who don't have any professional nanny experience who are interested in becoming a professional nanny. Childcare references are a must as the candidate will need to have experience working with children in other settings such as a church nursery, school, daycare, youth camps, babysitting etc. For those who have no nanny experience, the agency will help you understand what is expected of a nanny.
