Description
Professional health care provider with two girls ages 7 and 13, is in need of a live-in experienced family assistant. The FA's duties will require her to have an excellent driving record as she will be driving the girls to their schools and running errands for the family. A car for both on duty and off duty use will be available for the FA. The family also has three Labradoodles who are very good with people and will require help with feeding and taking to the vet or groomers. As a health care provider, the mother's schedule is often irregular so it's crucial that the FA is flexible and prioritizes the family's needs. The mother works about 15 days a month in 12 hour shifts. Below is an example of what the FA's schedule will look like but will vary every few months:
*Sundays- 6 hours every other week year round
*Mondays-Fridays 6am-9am & 3pm-8pm every other week during the summer
*Mondays-Fridays 6am-9am & 6pm-8pm every week during the school year
*Saturdays- 6 hours every other week year round
*Weekends- Up to two weekends a month
The FA will have her own private 500 sq. ft. guest house located 50 ft. behind the family's home next to a beautiful landscaped garden. Furniture and all amenities will be covered by the family; and of course the FA has use of the guest house year round, even though she will only be working every other week. If the FA chooses to acquire a second job on her weeks off, she must be able to prioritize the family's needs first for emergencies or other unforeseen circumstances. In addition, the FA must be flexible to work the holidays the mother has to work.
Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
Childcare
Help with homework, school projects etc.
Light housekeeping
Driving the girls
Cooking for the girls
Running errands
Grocery shopping
Plant care
Pet care
Family's laundry
Scheduling for children
Swimming with children
Other household chores
The FA must be available to start and move in before September 1, 2017. The DDA will start conducting interviews for qualified applicants starting immediately. We are only looking for single, female FA's who can live-in year round with excellent references and no other job commitments.
