Description
Long-term housekeeper is needed for a family in the River Hills area of Austin. The family has an 7500 sq. ft. house and 1500 sq. ft. guest house the housekeeper would be responsible for cleaning and maintaining. The housekeeper's hours are M-F 8am-4pm. Other household staff include a chef, household manager and nanny but the housekeeper will need to help with the family's laundry the days the laundress isn't working. It's important for the housekeeper to be flexible to the family's needs if there is a special event they need extra help with on occasion. The family has two dogs, so the housekeeper will need to be comfortable around dogs and help feed them and let them in and out during the day.
This is a long-term position for someone who has a minimum of 5 years of housekeeping experience for private families and excellent verifiable references. Having a great attitude with a strong and hard working work ethic are mandatory. Job duties are simply all housekeeping related. This is not an executive housekeeper position with other household managing duties or responsibilities.
