Description
Busy family of six is in need of a wonderful, long-term nanny for four children ages 8 months to 8 years old. Previous nanny experience with multiple children is a plus but infant experience is a must! The family currently lives near College Station, TX but will be relocating to Austin, TX so the nanny will need to be flexible to move with the family although it’s a live-out position. (The family will cover all relocation expenses) Since the family travels both domestically and internationally they need a nanny who is available to travel. The most important thing is that the nanny absolutely loves children and has an innate ability to connect and interact with them. Since there are four children, we are looking for a very confident, take-charge-nanny who the children will respect and obey but who is also very sweet and patient.
The nanny’s daily schedule is TBD so flexibility is essential. All of the nanny’s duties will be directly related to childcare since the family will have a fully staffed home. Although the family will have a chef, it’s important that the nanny is able to make healthy meals for the children.
Other duties include but are not limited to the following:
All childcare related duties with all four children
Traveling with the family
Available for occasional overnights as needed
Cooking for the children
Children’s laundry
Light housekeeping (cleaning up after children)
Driving children to school and activities
Taking children out on adventures (zoo, library, parks etc.)
Creative activities with children (arts and crafts, baking etc.)
Organizing children’s schedules (after-school activities, doctor appointments, play dates etc.)
Packing children’s belongings for travel
Keeping children’s room and toys organized (teaching them to clean up after themselves)
Helping children with homework and school projects
This is a really nice, down-to-earth family who is looking for a nanny who will be with them for many years. Anyone who works for this family will quickly discover they are very kind and generous to their household employees so we are looking for a very active and loyal nanny for this amazing family. Start date is January 2019.
