Description
We are in search for an Executive Housekeeper for a young family who lives in both Bryan, TX and Austin, TX to start ASAP. The family has three homes between the two cities with a vehicle available for the EH to use on duty to travel in between the homes. We are looking for someone who will be able to train and manage three housekeepers for all of the family’s properties. Ideal candidates will have at least 8+ years of experience in a similar role as a head housekeeper in a private residence or high-end hotel. The family has children and two medium sized dogs, so the EH should be great with both children and pets and must be able to drive.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
All major housekeeping
Family’s laundry
Grocery shopping for the family
Running errands
Pet care (walking, feeding, taking to vet and groomers etc.)
Managing housekeepers (duties, schedules, supervision etc.)
The EH’s daily schedule is M-F 8am-4pm with the flexibility to start earlier and end later as needed. Flexibility is essential as the family may need help outside of the EH’s regular schedule on occasional weekends and possible travel to their other properties. Salary is starting at $75k or more, based on experience, training and skill sets.
One of the most important qualities in the EH is that they have a great attitude with a strong work ethic. The EH should be able to work alone and with other housekeepers and household staff. She should lead the other housekeepers by example and work well in a team environment. Other qualities include great communication, management and people skills. The EH is responsible for creating an environment of hard work, trust and respect as her role as the lead housekeeper.
