Description
Busy working couple with three young children (ages 7 and 6 year old twins) is in need of a long-term Family Assistant to start in June of 2020. The FA will have her own furnished, private 1500 sq. ft. guest house across from the family's main house.
FA's daily schedule is M-F 12pm-6pm with the flexibility to start earlier, stay later or work weekends on occasion.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Childcare, homework help
Personal Assistant duties for parents
Household Manager duties
Cooking for the family (ideally)
Laundry for family
Family's ironing
Running errands
Grocery shopping
Driving children
Organizing
Ideal candidates are those who love cooking and can cook healthy meals for the entire family. We will consider those who have a minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Family Assistant, Nanny or Household Manager. However, this position has many more responsibilities than a nanny. The FA must have a good driving record and the family will be providing a vehicle for on-duty use. We are looking for mature, reliable candidates with previous long-term tenure in a similar position with excellent references.
Most importantly the FA must have a strong work ethic, be able to follow directions well and be a reliable help. She should not need to be told what to do but be able to anticipate her responsibilities independently once she is familiar with her duties and the family’s needs. The family is looking for someone who will be like a member of their family for many years.
This is a national search and candidates must be available to do a 5-day working trial period in May of 2020 and start by June 2020.
