Description
We are in search for an executive housekeeper for a young family with a newborn to start ASAP. This position can be live-in or live out, depending on the best fit. If the EH lives out, the family will ask her to take extra precautions when she is both on and off duty as they want to ensure their newborn is protected from the coronavirus. For live-in candidates, the family has a small studio above their garage but prefers someone local who can live out.
The schedule is flexible, as long as the EH is able to work at least 35 hours a week. Sine the family is being extra cautious during this time, they may ask our candidates to test for COVID19 before an in-person interview but will cover the cost associated with any tests. We will go over these details before scheduling an in-person interview.
The family wants an executive housekeeper who will be able to train, manage and possibly help hire other housekeepers for deep cleaning. Ideal candidates will have at least 5+ years of experience in a similar role as a head housekeeper and household manager in a private residence. This position is only for EHs with household management and personal assistant experience as these will be a large part of her duties.

Managing housekeepers (duties, schedules, supervision etc.)

Create household manuals
Home organization
Personal assistant duties
Family’s laundry
Grocery shopping
Running errands
One of the most important qualities in the EH is that they have a great attitude with a strong work ethic. The EH should be able to work independently, with other housekeepers and around the family. Other qualities include great communication, management and organization skills. The EH is responsible for creating an environment of hard work, trust and a positive attitude.
