Description
We are looking for a live-out Executive Housekeeper for a family in West Lake Hills near Austin, TX. The family would like the EH to clean and manage their property, including their 4500 sq. ft. home and 1500 sq. ft. guesthouse. EH candidates should be available 40 hours a week and the EH’s work schedule, as well as the exact number of working hours expected, are flexible for the right candidate. The EH will need to use her own vehicle for all driving related duties but will be reimbursed with a gas/maintenance allowance.
Other duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- All major housekeeping
- Laundry
- Household management
- Maintaining entire property
- Personal assistant to parents
- Managing supplies (restocking, purchasing etc.)
- Simple meal prep (chopping vegetables, etc.)
- Running errands/grocery shopping
- Driving the grandmother when she is in town
The ideal candidate is a critical thinker and will be able to problem-solve independently. EH should be able to manage her own schedule independently but be open to additional projects as needed. The family is looking for someone who is able to anticipate issues and can envision what needs to be taken care of. The family needs a self-starter with a strong work ethic who works hard and smart.
We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of 3+ years of professional experience, some background in property management or similar, a long-term tenure with a previous family and a friendly and positive attitude. It's crucial that the EH be able to take directions well and communicate clearly while still being able to work independently. Since this is a long-term position, we are looking for someone who can commit to this family for many years.
