Description
Busy family of four with a young Lab and a cat is currently in search for a long-term PT experienced Executive Housekeeper (EH) to work on salary up to 25/hours per week. This can be a live-in or live-out position. The family has a private bedroom in their main home if the EH would like to live-in temporarily until she finds her own private housing, or she can live-in long-term.
The EH’s work schedule is M-F 1pm-5pm. The EH may be asked to help out on occasional weekends or to come in earlier or stay later with advanced notice if it works with her schedule.
The ideal candidate loves children, pets and is an honest and kind. We are looking for EH’s who have a minimum of 5+ years of professional experience, a strong work ethic, long-term tenure with previous families, a positive attitude and great communication skills. Since this is a long-term position, we are looking for someone who can commit to this position for at least 1-year but ideally many years.
Other duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- All major housekeeping in 3600 sq. ft. home
- Running errands or grocery shopping as needed
- Laundry & ironing
- Managing cleaning supplies (restocking, purchasing etc.)
- Deep cleaning
- Pet care (walking dog, cleaning litter box, feeding etc.)
One of the most important qualities in the EH is that they have a great attitude with a strong work ethic. The EH should be able to work alone or around the family. Other qualities include great communication, organization and people skills. The EH is responsible for creating a clean and organized household while giving the family as much privacy as possible.
