San Antonio area based family is in need of a professional Executive Housekeeper (EH) and cook to start ASAP. The Principal’s previous EH was with them for about 8 years and only left because she relocated to another city. This is a good opportunity for someone who is looking for a stable, long-term position for one family who enjoys staying active.
The EH’s work schedule is Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm with the flexibility to work weekends and late nights with advanced notice.
The ideal candidate enjoys cooking, is honest, friendly and can work well as a team player under the Principal’s Estate Manager. We are looking for EH’s who have a minimum of 5+ years of professional experience, a strong work ethic and long-term tenure with previous families. The EH should have a positive attitude with great communication skills and do her work without complaints. Since this is a long-term position, we are looking for someone who can commit to this position and schedule for many years.
Other duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- All major housekeeping in 8k sq. ft. home
- Personal Assistant duties
- Laundry & ironing
- Managing supplies (restocking, purchasing etc.)
- Helping caterers during parties
- Assist other household staff as needed
- Running errands (car available for use)
- Deep cleaning
- Basic cooking
- Running errands
- Grocery shopping
One of the most important qualities in the EH is that they have the ability to take direction well, without taking any needed improvement feedback negatively or personally. The EH should be able to work independently around other household staff and the Principal without having being told what to do. Other qualities include good organization and people skills. The EH is responsible for creating a clean and organized household while giving the Principal as much privacy as possible.
